"The Johnson County Party has been busy setting the ground work for November- 2 conventions of precinct leaders to replace a retiring state senator and the representative who took his place; a tax forum townhall with 4 state senators and 4 representatives, a campaign seminar for new house candidates and at least 3 training seminars in February for precinct leaders and activists- not to mention Kansas Days."

"Finally 2010 is here! Now we just have to make it to November to see the Republicans start ousting the corrupt Dems. We were left with a progressive, tax happy governor when Sebilius went to Washington. 2010 is the time to have a true conservative return to the Governors Mansion"

"Last Saturday, about 50 MoveOn.Org and KS Young Dem protesters staged a march in Shawnee (Johnson County) KS. Using the ever-growing conservative communications network, around 150 counter protesters stunned and suprised the outnumbered lefties (despite it beign the day of the KU vs K-State game). That is representative of the energy and enthusiasm out here. If we can harness that energy and the eclectic groups that are constantly forming, we can clean-sweep this state!"
