Why are you a Republican?: I have voted for more Republicans than any other group most of my life, simply because there were few pro-life Democrats until this past election. Socially conservative issues are those most important to me, which is why I naturally gravitate towards the Republican Party, yet their warmongering and unwillingness to compromise on contradicting issues like the Death Penalty or economic reforms frustrates me at times.
